LONG LIVE THE HUNT
For generations, the outdoorsman’s way of life has depended on space—space to roam, to hunt, to fish, and to pass knowledge forward from one season to the next. Today, that space is shrinking. Land is divided, access is restricted, and traditions once learned in the field risk being lost to time. The sporting life, like the wild itself, now stands under quiet pressure from a world moving farther from its roots.
The coyote has long understood this reality. Known in old slang as the Red Dog, it is among the most instinctive and resilient hunters on the landscape—adaptable, intelligent, and unyielding. As territory has changed and margins have narrowed, the coyote has endured not by abandoning its nature, but by relying on it. By learning. By adjusting. By enduring.
Red Dog Field Club was founded in that same spirit.
We chose the Red Dog as our symbol because it reflects what it means to be an outdoorsman today: rooted in tradition, guided by instinct, and true to the field. Like the coyote, we believe the answer is not retreat—but unity. Hunters, anglers, and houndsmen standing together to protect access, uphold standards, and preserve the rituals that define life afield.
Red Dog Field Club exists to unite those who respect land, water, and heritage. Through exclusive access to private properties, thoughtfully managed sporting opportunities, and a fellowship committed to conservation and craftsmanship, we work to ensure the outdoorsman’s way of life endures—intact, authentic, and passed forward for generations to come.
